One of my absolute favorite things to do is cook! I hope you enjoy this sweet and savory meal as much as I do.
- 2 Tablespoons Oil (Olive, Avocado, Vegetable)
- 3 (6oz.) Skinless Salmon Fillet.
** Note that if you can only find skin on, Once you pan sear for 3 minutes skin down, It will pull right off.
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 4 Tablespoons honey
- 2.5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- Seasoning salt, Black pepper, garlic powder
- 1/2 of an Orange
- Red Bell Pepper
Use seasoning salt, black pepper and garlic powder to season each fillet to desired taste.
Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Sear salmon on each side for 3-4 minutes or until desired crisp.
Set to the side.
In another skillet pour in orange juice over medium heat and allow to reduce. ( this usually takes about a minute.
Next, add in honey and soy sauce. Let simmer for one minute.
Stir in minced garlic, red pepper and green onion. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes.
Turn off heat and add salmon to glaze skillet, coat each piece of fish.
Preheat your oven to 350.
Place glazed salmon in oven for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
