Her Story
December 20, 2020

Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

-Francis of Assisi

We all have a story no matter where you come from! That story started when you were born and continues to play out everyday.

Like many others, my story is one full of complexities, heart ache, happiness, sadness, triumph, obstacles, success and failures. I share my experiences to assist others with anything that I may have already been through.

I share my story because when I was going through, I felt alone and isolated. I felt like I was the only one in the world failing at life. I share my story so that the next person will have a how to guide and clear example of what it looks like to come out of the storm.

I’m someone who had a car repossessed in 2017, went two years with no car, another year with a semi reliable car, that was not at all what I was used to driving but I needed to drive it for that very reason. I needed to build more character, I needed more story to share and humility built.

God needed to use me as an example, so I gracefully drove my 2006 Volkswagen Passat with the broken driver side door that I had to slam 17 times (no exaggeration) for it to close.

Had I not, I wouldn’t currently know where an oil pan is, where to pour coolant or how to listen for certain red flags in a car.

Now here I am driving the very car that I starting speaking about 2 years ago, same color and everything! This post is for anyone struggling through life right now. Don’t give up! Even when everything stacked against you is screaming “quit”. Fight and pray your way through the clutter.

I will tell more of this story on my youtube channel so make sure you subscribe boo!

  Xo,

                                                                                                                                                Ri

How fitting is the Tee? Her Story in the making is what it says and sometime you just may need that reminder! I love affirmations that come in the form of a T-shirt!
